On June 7, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued an announcement regarding the second expedited sunset review final ruling on countervailing duties concerning imports of crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells from China. It determined that if the countervailing duties in this case are revoked, it would result in the continuation or recurrence of subsidies on the subject products from China at rates ranging from 25.56% to 26.75%. On March 9, 2018, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued an affirmative final determination on the first expedited sunset review of countervailing duties concerning imports of crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells from China. On March 12, 2018, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued an affirmative final determination on the first expedited sunset review of anti-dumping duties concerning imports of crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells from China. On February 1, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce initiated the second expedited sunset review investigations on anti-dumping and countervailing duties concerning imports of crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells from China.
